Happy Harvest! Rootastes’ Fall Menu is Here

The leaves are changing and there’s a briskness to the morning air- fall is here! Though we’ll miss the sunny days of summer, fall is one of the most inspiring seasons, and we’ve taken that inspiration to our kitchen.

The Rootastes fall menu features warm flavors and the fresh new addition of our fruit infused waters.

Heart of the Roots

Our popular “Heart of the Roots” section includes a variety of hearty and delicious sides. We change Heart of the Roots every season based on which ingredients are locally available that time of year, and we’re excited to continue working with local farmers to incorporate freshly picked produce for our fall menu.

Queen B is quintessential New England autumn in a dish, featuring roasted butternut squash, Brussels sprouts, and our house apple cider vinaigrette.

Speaking of apples, our McIntosh Farfalle is jazzed with fresh from the orchard McIntosh apples, farfalle, and walnuts blended with vegetables, Parmesan cheese, and our ginger vinaigrette dressing.

If you’re on the eat more kale bandwagon, try our Kale Slaw. It’s crunchy and sweet, topped with a lemon poppy seed dressing.

Still not enticed? Our Cauli Coli and Umami Mushroom are still on the menu with a few seasonal updates, and we’ve added Double Beets and Corn Edamame Sriracha Lime. Click here for details!

Hot Off the Harvest

Our customers love the custom aspect of build-your-own bowls, and this season we’ve added flavors inspired by the harvest.

Mix up your usual order with rosemary roasted chicken breast or apple cinnamon pork. If you’re committed to your usual protein, give our sriracha lime or basil balsamic vinaigrette sauces a try to change the flavor of your lunch without altering its components.
