Lettuce Burgers With Potato Wedges

Red also takes the spotlight in our Lettuce Burgers with Red Potato Wedges recipe. Paprika not only adds the vibrancy of red to the potatoes, but a kick of smokiness that enhances the flavor of the burgers served with it. (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tomato, sliced thin
  • 4 leaves red leaf lettuce, washed, whole
  • 1 lb. Yukon gold potatoes, cleaned and cut into quarters (wedges)
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

  1. In a bowl, combine beef with salt, pepper, dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Shape into 4 equal-sized patties. (Be sure to make a good-sized indent with your thumb in the middle to help with cooking!)
  3. Either grill to desired doneness or sear in a medium-sized skillet.
  4. Add your favorite toppings, or stay simple & healthy with a slice of tomato and a lettuce bun!
  5. In a bowl, toss potato “wedges” with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.
  6. Place onto a well-greased baking sheet, being sure to spread apart evenly.
  7. Bake at 425-degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown and soft.
