Got peaches in your Fresh Basket? Let's get them cooking! We’ve loved peaches in cobbler, with cream, and, simply, with a big, juicy bite into the raw fruit. Just like any fruit, peaches are versatile and can be enjoyed in so many ways. We’re sharing three of our favorite new ways to enjoy peaches.

You read that right! Fruit can be plopped right on the grill. Grilled peaches take on a charred, conflated edge that enhances the sweetness of their flesh. Serve with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey for an ice cream sundae that will make banana splits jealous.
Add even more versatility to the way peaches can be enjoyed by cooking them stovetop and then blending. The sauce can be enjoyed in cocktails, yogurt parfaits, dip, as a poultry glaze, and more.
Peach season is fleeting, and while we can’t extend the growing season, we can freeze time. Sort of. Canning was a relied-on technique in the days before produce could be easily imported from overseas. It’s also the best way to preserve peaches at their peak freshness today so that flavor and goodness can be enjoyed long after summer’s final serenade.
Canned peaches are also a great shortcut when baking. Just add them right in to a shortcake, crisp, or pie! (Or enjoy them straight from the jar.)
